In Memory of Maryann Allen
MARCH 16, 1942 – FEBRUARY 18, 2023

“Mother, you left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide, although we
Cannot see you, you’re always at our side.”
Maryann was well-loved by her family and friends and so enjoyed spending time with each of them. She had a strong faith and loved the Lord. Maryann made time for everyone, helping when anyone needed her. Maryann loved all her many friendships, and everyone she knew had a special place in her heart. There was never a day she did not put someone else before herself. Maryann’s thoughtfulness, caring, generosity, and sense of humor are her qualities that will make us all smile when we remember her. Anytime we see angels or butterflies, our hearts will remember her, and we can take comfort in knowing she is right beside us.
Maryann was a very active woman that enjoyed many things, including Peach’s with Jeanne(s), the colleagues and customers she knew for many years from selling tins that became her lifelong friends, friends, church friends, donating to seeing eye dogs and watching the puppies grow, and the yellow birds group.
There was not a day she didn’t enjoy all the many adventures with everyone she knew.
Maryann’s mass will be held at Holy Cross Church in Palmetto at 11:00 on March 9, 2023, with a graveside committal service at Mansion Memorial Gardens in Ellenton following the mass.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to any of her favorite charities: Southeastern Guide Dogs, St. Jude, or Alzheimer’s Association.
