What happens when you combine ’80s workout videos, healthy snacking, and a dash of modern irony?

Introducing ‘Snacksercise,’ the latest campaign from the American Pecan Promotion Board. This bold initiative delivers a fresh take on wellness messaging by deliberately stepping away from the polished perfection of today’s fitness content.

Launching at a time where fitness and healthy snacking is top of mind for so many, the campaign flips the script on the expected

post-holiday messaging by embracing purposefully retro aesthetics and tapping into shared cultural memories. The campaign

features a spandex-clad instructor demonstrating pecan-themed workouts like “The Top Shelf Reach” and “Pecan Crunches,” all

presented in VHS-style footage that would make Richard Simmons and Suzanne Somers proud.

With strategic placements across Gym TV and premium digital platforms, APPB communicates with lighthearted humor

that healthy habits and snacks can be fun, especially when they’re nutritious AND delicious. Spot the new ad campaign across premium

CTV/OTT networks and streaming platforms like ABC, Hulu, Food Network, and YouTube TV. Shoppers will be inspired by Snacksercise

while building their grocery lists on e-commerce platforms such as Instacart and Amazon as well as in-store retail activations. APPB

will also be tapping social influencers to demonstrate the moves – complete with “Snack In Progress” exercise gear.

By blending vintage fitness culture with modern media tactics, Snacksercise positions pecans as a contemporary, exciting  and good for

you snack choice while reminding audiences that wellness doesn’t have to be rigid—it can be full of flavor and fun.
