“Pecan producers in Texas represent a wide range of geographic regions, production methods, and cultures. The Texas Pecan Growers Association (TPGA) works to assist each of its members in producing Texas’ native nut,” says Blair Krebs, Executive Director of TPGA. “The TPGA conference and trade show is the once-a-year opportunity for pecan growers from every region of the state and country to gather for an educational program, trade show, networking events, and fun!”

U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson will give welcoming remarks to kick off the event’s educational program. During the conference, attendees can visit the 2023 Texas Pecan Show, which awards the state’s best pecans for the most recent crop year. Additionally, the conference features a tour of a commercial pecan orchard in southern Oklahoma, a trade show full of equipment, and a raffle to fundraise for Texas pecan research and Extension.

In addition to learning about best farming practices, conference attendees will also receive updates from several industry groups, attend networking events, mingle with product and service providers, and fundraise for research and advocacy projects.
